Losing someone you love doesn't just break your routine, it can shake your faith to its core.

Grief has stages most people never see coming: the blame that creeps in at 2 a.m., the regret over words left unsaid, the anger you didn't expect to feel toward God Himself. If you've found yourself questioning God after loss, wondering why He allowed it, or feeling guilty for the thoughts grief has stirred up in you, you are not alone, and you are not doing this wrong.

When Love Outlives Goodbye is a Christian grief book written for the moments the sympathy cards don't cover. It walks with you through the real stages of grief—denial, blame, bargaining, anger at God, and the long road toward healing, and shows you what a healthy grieving process actually looks like when you refuse to grieve alone.

Whatever stage of grief you're in tonight, this book meets you there, and walks you toward the other side.

About The Author

Justin is a native of Houston, Texas, whose life has been shaped by both deep trials and unwavering faith in the Lord. Having walked through seasons of grief, loss, and personal hardship, he has discovered that God often brings purpose from pain. Those experiences ignited a calling to encourage, equip, and walk alongside others facing trauma, grief, and life's most difficult challenges.

Driven by a desire to serve others through biblical truth and compassionate care, Justin studied at Moody Bible Institute, majoring in Crisis and Trauma Care. His education, combined with his personal journey, has given him a unique perspective on healing, hope, and restoration through Jesus Christ.

Justin believes that no wound is beyond God's ability to heal and that every person's story can become a testimony of His grace. Through his writing and ministry, he seeks to offer practical encouragement, biblical wisdom, and the hope found only in Christ to those navigating loss, suffering, and emotional pain.

Reader Reviews

I loved the author's writing style. I could relate to losing a loved one and the different stages I have gone through. What I liked was the scripture and exercises to help going through each stage

I loved seeing the stages and reading how other people reacted. I lost both of my parents and I still grieve for them.

This book is amazing, well written and has brought a lot of insight into how I’ve been feeling with the loss of my loved ones. It is helping me understand my grief, and I especially appreciate the scripture and prayers at the end of each chapter. Highly recommend for anyone who has lost a loved one and grieving.
